Rev T.J. Conwell, Lead Pastor

Pastor T.J. originally hails from Troy, New York.  He surrendered to the call into the ministry in 2001, was licensed in 2003, and ordained in 2005 through Trinity Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, Texas.  He began his service in the ministry in 2000 as a youth pastor, and has gratefully served as the lead pastor of three churches in Alabama prior to coming to Seasons.  Bro TJ is also an elder at Seasons who is a passionate, expository, teacher of God's Word who refuses to compromise the Bible's meaning, or its call on each of us to repent of our sin, in order to cater to society's comfort. 

He is a 20-year Air Force retiree, holds a master's degree in information systems, is a CHIME Certified Healthcare Chief Information Officer (CHCIO), has played drums for nearly 40 years, and works remotely as the Director of Legacy Support supporting a major hospital system in Indianapolis, IN.   He and his wife, Michelle (who also serves as our Children's Director), are the proud parents of three grown children and they reside at Lake Jordan, AL with their 3 lovable dogs and 1 crazy cat. 

Marc and Tanya are a dynamic duo and make beautiful music together.  Between the two of them, they have over 50 years making music and playing various instruments. 

Marc has a passion for music theory, composition, and expression.  Outside of music, he has a wealth of experience ranging from automotive repair, heavy equipment operation, and cell phone assembly line production to owning his own business teaching music lessons.  He currently serves as the Bench Stock Program Manager on Maxwell AFB. 

Tanya served and retired from the Air Force after 22 years and has a passion for adult education and completed her master's degree in adult education in 2011.  She is a certified instructional systems designer, creating curriculum and evaluating its effectiveness.  After almost 30 years in government service, she now enjoys managing the homestead and caring for their 2 horses, 3 dogs, and 5 cats.
